3D Fabric painting hints and tipsI Made This' 3D fabric paints have a raised 3D surface and a plastic feel to them once the fabric paint is dry. The tubes of fabric paint can be used as fabric paint pens by squeezing the fabric paint through the nozzle. This is great for outlining or writing on your art and craft project. The 3D fabric paint can also be spread with a paintbrush to cover larger areas. When using the 3D fabric paint pens hold the pen just above the material and squeeze the fabric pen gently, moving your hand in the direction of your design. Try using the fabric paint on a piece of paper first to get used to its flow. When painting near other wet areas balance your painting hand on top of the forearm of your other arm. This helps you prevent smudging the artwork you have done so far. When the fabric pen is close to empty, roll up the bottom like a tube of toothpaste to allow you to use up all of the fabric paint. After using the fabric paint, wash the tip to keep it clean for your next art and craft project. Leave the fabric paint to dry for 24 hours and wash at 30 degrees after 72 hours.
FABRIC DESIGN PENOur Fabric Design Pen is ideal for designing your fabric painting project. Use the coloured tip to draw or trace your design. If you make a mistake, erase your lines with the white tip on the other end of the fabric design pen. If you have large areas to erase you can dab water onto the fabric to remove the design (leave the area to dry before painting). When you machine wash your fabric painting artwork all pen marks made by the pen will disappear.
